Kunskapsbolaget Integra AB (Integra) founded 1994 in Uppsala Sweden, is a private educational and consultancy company started by Aram Afsahi, LennartFrimodig and Carlos Toledo. The company´s primary focus has been the integration migrantand long term unemployed people in Sweden. As the founders/owners had extensive experience of working with refugee reception, the training concepts have been derived from an ambition to innovate more effective and creative methods to implement successful integration/inclusion of individuals in Swedish society and work life.
The scope of Integras activities cover various areas and target groups , where the main ones consist of :
Vocational education for youth and adults of all backgrounds.
Training and education for asylum seekers
Swedish language courses for migrants.
Labor market education for long term unemployed individuals
Entrepreneurship and social innovation
Diversity management and cross-cultural training
Integras main customers and partners are public sector authorities and municipalities but also involves a close cooperation with schools (upper secondary, vocational colleges), NGO:s and private companies in different parts of Sweden.
Integra has currently educational centers in 6 municipalities in Sweden.
Integra Ltd has been partner in more than 20 EU funded and other projects on national and transnational level aiming at social innovation and the implementation of concepts and methods related to integration and labor market facilitation for the target groups. Integra currently have 20 employees and operates in a broad network of NGO:s, public sector authorities and consultants.
